How to Guide: Transparent Window Stickers

What will you need?

• Spray Bottle (warm water 2 drops dish liquid)
• Squeegee (see our website to order)
• Window cleaner
• Microfibre cloth or paper Towel

Before starting:

Before beginning to install window sticker it is important to clean the glass thoroughly. The better you prepare the application surface the longer the stickers will last.

Step 1

Check the graphic fits your window before applying. Measure to a known straight edge (if required) and mark position with masking tape.

Step 2

Working from the top with the sticker face down on a clean surface, peel the first 10cm of sticker away from the backing paper and fold the backing paper back against itself.

Step 3

Spray plenty of fine mist of the soapy water solution on to the window surface. The solution makes it easier to push out bubbles.

Step 4

Position the exposed adhesive section in the desired location and gently secure in place by pressing down with your hand. Grab your squeegee and smooth it into place. Working any bubbles to the closest edge.

Step 5

Slowly remove the remaining backing paper and as you go gently smooth the sticker onto the surface. Ensuring you push any air bubbles to the exposed edge.

Step 6

Once completely in position you can use the felt covered graphic applicator (or other cloth covered straight edged implement) to firmly fix the graphic in place. Work from the inside out pushing any bubbles & remaining water to the closest edge.

Please note:  

Small bubbles will settle overtime. Large bubbles can be pierced with a pin and the air can be worked out ofthe hole. Please only clean graphicwithwarm soapywater- no harsh chemicals.
